Auditing

After training in tax consulting, I ended up in auditing, as an assistant at the auditing company Constantin GmbH in Frankfurt am Main, I was able to gain and consolidate knowledge in the area of ​​accounts payable and accounts receivable for large corporations, but I missed the area of ​​income tax very much, I did wanted to go back to my favorite area, I wanted to go back to income tax, I also lacked contact with clients and the financial administration.


Tax advice

After two years in auditing, I ended up in tax consulting again, so I ended up at the tax consultancy company ABACO GmbH, the office was at Baseler Platz, not far from the main train station, there I was able to use my specialist knowledge efficiently, here I learned income tax returns An even higher speed to complete, the tax return was created and processed as long as the mandate was at the table, here I learned to combine quality of work and speed, if the client had all the necessary documents, the income tax return could be created within a very short time.


ABACO GmbH was then founded by tax consultants and lawyers Bubenheim, Diem-Hofer and Lic. Jur. Dr. Probst took over and I was allowed to head the income tax declaration department for employees, self-employed and small businesses, the mandates were international and came from all income groups and the income tax declarations were just as varied. Regardless of whether it is double housekeeping or maintenance management for relatives living abroad, whether tram drivers, pensioners, police officers, public prosecutors or traders, we were always the right contact for everyone.


After the tax consultants and lawyers closed the office at the main train station, I was taken over by the tax consultancy company RETAX GmbH, whose managing director is lawyer and tax consultant Dr. Kay Schmidt di Simoni gave me the opportunity to do what I liked to do, so I was allowed to prepare income tax returns in his law firm, again a diverse client base.


Income tax aid association

While I was still at RETAX GmbH, I decided with some friends to found the income tax aid association TETAX eV, with the approval of my employer and the Frankfurt am Main regional tax office, I founded the income tax aid association with friends based at the main train station in Frankfurt and shared the rooms with RETAX GmbH, after 8 years as a board member and advice center manager of the income tax aid association and after 20 years in tax advice, I allowed myself a longer break in 2019.
